tout!

Burkina Faso and Cameroon faced each other this Saturday (8 p.m.), on the occasion of the small final of the CAN. The Indomitable Lions, who host the competition, wanted to come out with the honors. But the latter conceded the opener in the 24th minute. Issa Kaboré sent a cross which allowed Steeve Yago to take over and deceive André Onana. 1-0. Burkina also doubled the lead shortly before the break. Kaboré's center shot did not come out, for a rather incredible own goal from Onana. At rest, despite Cameroon's 56% ball possession advantage, Burkina had broken before the break.

The Lions still did not come out of the water against the Stallions in the second half. Shortly after half-time, Bertrand Traoré, with very good control, offered a ball to the head of Djibril Ouattara for the 3-0 in favor of Burkina. A Burkina who quietly managed the rest of the meeting against toothless Lions in the offensive game, but who nevertheless reduced the mark from a corner, 20 minutes from the end.

Toko Ekambi missed his header, Bahoken followed well to put the ball in the back of the net to reduce the score (3-1). The beginning of a great comeback, with a new reduction in the gap signed Aboubakar with a victorious header from a corner 5 minutes from the end. The same Aboubakar took advantage of a long ball poorly captured by the opposing goalkeeper, to offer himself a double and equalize for his team. The match was going to be played on penalties. No Cameroonian trembled and Onana caught up by repelling an attempt. The host country therefore finished third in this African Cup of Nations.
